ChatGPT Now Speaks Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, and Other Indian Languages! Here’s How to Get Responses in Local Languages

ChatGPT has expanded its language capabilities to include Hindi, along with several other Indian languages, allowing users across India to interact with the AI chatbot in their preferred languages. While this is a significant update, it’s worth noting that not all Indian languages are supported yet. Here’s how you can get responses in Hindi using ChatGPT.

How to Get Replies in Hindi Using ChatGPT:

  1. Log in to ChatGPT
Start by logging into your ChatGPT account. If you don’t have an account yet, you’ll need to create one using your email address.
  2. Ask in Hindi
Once you’re logged in, type your query in Hindi and specify that you want the response in the same language.
  3. Get Hindi Responses
When you enter a query in Hindi, ChatGPT will respond in Hindi. Our tests have shown that the replies are generally accurate and coherent in the language.

India Today reports that, apart from Hindi, ChatGPT can now also respond in other Indian languages such as Bengali, Assamese, Bhojpuri, and more. This makes it more accessible for users in different parts of India.

Additional Features for ChatGPT Users:

  • Bing Search Integration
Users of the ChatGPT iOS app can now access Bing search for real-time information. However, this feature is available only for ChatGPT Plus users, and must be enabled in the settings.
  • Live Browsing for Plus Users
According to OpenAI, Plus users can now use the Browsing feature to get up-to-date answers beyond the model’s training data, which cuts off in 2021. This integration is still in beta but is expected to expand in the future.

Microsoft had previously announced that ChatGPT users would be able to retrieve live information via Bing search, but this feature was not available for all ChatGPT users.

While the iOS app was released in the US on May 10, OpenAI has since gradually made the app available in other countries, including India. The Android version is still awaited, but OpenAI has confirmed plans to launch it soon.
